Do Ferreiro 2023

Do Ferreiro is an emblematic white wine from one of the most well-renowned wineries in the Rías Baixas area and the whole of Galicia. The vines, between ten and fifty years old, used for this wine, are rooted in diverse soil types in the Val do Salnés area — mainly granitic sands and red slate. The grapes were harvested at the right time in five days and fermentation was started using the prestigious, but scarce, Cepas Vellas wine from the Gerardo Méndez winery. A classic Albariño wine with everything as it should be and nothing in excess, this wine combines the best of traditional wine-making with the freshness and definition of contemporary wines.
