La Garnatxa Fosca del Priorat 2021

Made from the grapes of old vines aged over 60 years old. Cultivated on the slate-covered hillsides and terraces of the mountains of Molar (Tarragona), and lying at altitudes of between 300 and 400 metres. Aged for 10 months in French oak barrels, La Garnatxa Fosca del Priorat reminds us with its name (fosca means dark) of the slate soils of the Priorat which define the austere and flavoursome character of this wine. Sixty-year-old vines grow on the typical soils of this area (where slate dominates) at a height of 310 metres. This is a mineral Grenache, complex and elegant which has aged for 10 months in French oak barrels to gain its austere and flavoursome character.
