Salanques 2021

Salanques is a great red wine that manages to transmit the character of Priorat through balance and intensity. In his court old vines of Garnacha and Cariñena take part plus a small contribution of Syrah grapes from young vines, all of them with the common denominator of the Licorella and the altitude (between 350 and 500 meters). The double selection of the grapes and the vinification of each small piece of land separately ensure the best of each of the clusters involved in the production of Salanques. As a result, we obtain a powerful and spicy wine, with a lot of ripe wild black fruit and clear earthy memories. Structured and tasty on the palate, with some light saline and graphite aromas. The fineness of its tannins ensures a velvety passage by mouth and a global sense of harmony.
