Santa Cruz de Artazu is the height of elegance and finesse, a wine with class, a masterpiece that reveals the true potential and beauty of the Navarra Garnacha. Contained protectively within the bottle is an extremely refined wine, which once poured into the glass, releases a subtle sound that gives fair warning of its fruity texture. Can it possibly be elegant and have so much body? Santa Cruz de Artazu proves this can be true, as this is a wine full of balance: a nose redolent of black berry fruits, juicy, fresh, lightly spiced and with just the right amount of wood; on the palate it has plenty of structure, silkiness, with a slightly salty edge and a touch of caramel sweetness. The style makes us understandably think of its Riojan relation, Artadi: an absolute delight. So here we have Santa Cruz de Artazu, just as perfect as Artadi!
