Vall Llach Aigua de Llum 2019

Aigua de Llum is an exuberant single varietal Viognier, a white with good volume, which has increased in elegance with each new vintage, carefully styled to avoid any invasive woody notes and to move towards the perfect balance between fruit and oak. It’s a low production wine, which pays homage to the great Catalan poet Miquel Martí i Pol, a friend and spiritual guide of the winery since its foundation. Its name, Aigua de Llum ('water of light') actually derives from a poem by Martí i Pol called Solstici, and a small fragment of it appears on the wine’s label.
