Altos de Luzón 2021

Classed as one of their 'autor' or signature wines, this is fresh and fruity in the modern style, offering a top quality 'crianza' at a good price. Great care is taken over hand-picking the choicest grapes at harvest and then selecting further on the sorting table, with each variety undergoing fermentation separately. Garnet-cherry red in colour, it reveals a complex range of aromas, notably ripe black fruit, spices, cocoa, vanilla and toasty notes. On the palate, this is a pleasantly rich wine, with ripe and rounded tannins, that shows good acidity with a silky texture and great balance. Aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
