Emilio Moro El Zarzal 2022

Emilio Moro produces three wines in the Bierzo and El Zarzal is the one which best reflects the reasons why this Ribera family became enamoured with the Godello variety: its freshness, its aromatic potential and its ageing capability. It’s a white which is mature yet at the same time fresh, very varietal, with primary (grape pulp) and floral aromas, and a slightly saline and spicy, mineral finish. A white that finds its place between the simplicity of Polvorete and the seriousness of La Revelía. Simple but complete; serious but accessible. The label is the work of the artist Domingo Zapata, who has reflected the wine’s aromatic personality and fresh character, with shades of green in the background.
