Vizcarra 2021 (1.5 L)

A great concentration of fruit, with the structure and elegance so typical of a good Ribera del Duero, luscious and lengthy, that’s Vizcarra. A genuine Ribera but it also has a special juicy quality which reminds us in its expression of certain Rioja wines; a Tempranillo, when all is said and done. A wine with a captivating nose and real soul, and precisely because of its intensity on the nose, we’re expecting a powerful wine, which it certainly is, but also seamless, silky, very well-balanced, and one to drink and enjoy rather than spend time discussing.
